JASMINE C. SNOW
storyteller + journalist + researcher
Stories are how we survive, and I believe in living well.
I am a versatile storyteller skilled in research, writing, multimedia, and source management. I focus on race/ethnicity, public safety and policing, health, and culture. I believe my job is only possible by working with the communities I belong to and live alongside. My work and contributions have been featured in BridgeDetroit, the Minnesota Star Tribune, the Sahan Journal, APM Reports, the Minnesota Daily, the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder, and more. Most recently, I completed a master’s degree in Journalism at Michigan State University, and was the lead graduate research assistant for the LIFT Project.
I am currently the city government reporter at BridgeDetroit, and am responsible for the Detroit City Notebook.
