When It Hits Home
This multimedia project seeks to honor and support mothers and families of police violence victims.
I am launching this project in Michigan and will begin publishing in 2026.
- As of Apr. 2026, I have wrapped up filming for the film components centering three Michigan mothers. I am now in the process of editing photo and video, as well as solidifying the resource guide. At least one component is expected to be published by mid-July.
- As of Oct. 2025, I’m in the research and outreach stage of reporting; I am actively looking for family members, local activist/advocacy groups, and community partners to connect with.
